The number one question we get before a session? “What do I wear?”
Followed closely by: “What if I don’t know how to pose?” and “Do I need to lose weight first?” (You don’t. Ever.)
Here’s the honest, practical guide and the first thing to know is that we’ve already taken most of the stress out of it.

Good News: Our Client Wardrobe Has You Covered
Don’t stress about outfits — you’ll have full access to our luxury client wardrobe on session day, in sizes S through 6XL. Every woman gets styled in pieces chosen to flatter her unique shape, and we plan it all out together beforehand.
That said, you’re absolutely welcome to bring your own pieces too. Here’s what works best.
What to Bring From Home
Lingerie you already love. Something you feel good in beats something brand-new that pinches. Black is timeless; jewel tones and deep reds photograph beautifully.
An oversized button-down or sweater. His shirt, your favorite chunky knit, a crisp white button-down slipping off one shoulder. Effortless and always stunning.
A robe or kimono. Silk, lace, or sheer — robes add movement and drama, perfect for in-between moments.
Something meaningful. His dog tags, your veil, your grandmother’s pearls, a jersey. Personal items make the most emotional photos in the album.
Heels you can actually stand in. Nude or black stilettos elongate everything. Bring them even if you think you’ll go barefoot — options are good.
Simple jewelry. Delicate necklaces, earrings, a bracelet. Keep it simple so nothing competes with you.
What Session Day Looks Like
Plan to be with us most of the day — it’s a full experience, not a quick appointment.
We start at 10:00 am with professional hair and makeup (about 60 minutes, and yes, it’s included). Then we shoot across multiple sets while Michelle guides every single pose — you’ll never have to figure out what to do with your hands. After a quick break, you come back for your same-day reveal and pick your favorite images.

The Night Before & Morning Of
The night before: Moisturize everything. Drink water. Get sleep if you can.
The morning of: Arrive with clean, dry hair and a fresh face — our glam team takes it from there. One big tip: skip tight bras, socks, and skinny jeans before you arrive. They leave marks on the skin that take a while to fade.
Fake tan? Only if you always do it. Session day is not the time to experiment.
What You Don’t Need to Worry About
Posing. That’s literally our job. Every client says the same thing walking in — “I’m not a model” — and women tell us all the time they forgot they were even at a photo shoot.
Your body. Every size, every age, every body — that’s who this studio was built for. Stretch marks, scars, all of it: you don’t need to look a certain way. You just need to show up.
Nerves. Almost every woman walks in nervous. Almost every woman walks out asking why she waited so long.
Budget. If cost is the hesitation, ask us about payment plans — including interest-free in-house options. Your experience shouldn’t have to wait.
