I want to tell you something I haven’t fully said out loud yet.

For a long time, I was photographing some of the most powerful, vulnerable, beautiful moments of women’s lives — inside a space I didn’t love.

And I think you deserve to know that story.

The Old Space

In August of 2025, I moved BombShell Boudoir into a historic house in the heart of downtown La Grange. On paper it sounded perfect — charming old building, great location, close to home. I was excited.

But almost immediately, something felt off.

The owners weren’t easy to work with. I couldn’t paint the walls. I couldn’t make it fully mine. And then — two months after I moved in — they started talking about selling the building. Two months. I had barely unpacked.

Still, I stayed. I made it work. I showed up for every single client and gave them everything I had, even when the space didn’t feel like me.

Then the rent increase came. And honestly? That was the moment I was done.

Not just because of the money — but because I realized I had been pouring my heart into a place that was never going to love me back. The owners weren’t people I wanted to build something with. The traffic from the stoplight outside was constant. And deep down I knew — this wasn’t it.

BombShell deserved better. And so did my clients.

Twelve Days

They told me mid-April I needed to be out by the end of the month.

I had sessions booked through April 28th.

So I photographed women. I celebrated them. I showed up fully — and then the second my last session wrapped, we got to work.

Two U-Hauls. My family showing up without hesitation. Everything packed, moved, and hauled to a brand new space in Crestwood, KY.

The new place needed work. The carpet in the office was not something I’m going to describe in detail — let’s just say it had to go. The walls were painted a shade of green that I can only describe as puke. Nothing about it was ready.

But it had good bones. It was upstairs with real windows and beautiful natural light. It was off the main road but still close to everything. It had multiple rooms — actual separate spaces I could build into real sets. And the people? The people were good.

So we got to work.

New floors. Fresh paint. Furniture in, equipment up, sets built from scratch. 10 days to turn a blank slate into a luxury boudoir studio.

We started renting May 1st. I had a session May 11th.

We made it.

The Villa

I want to tell you what it feels like to walk into my studio now.

It feels like mine.

Every set, every detail, every wall color — I chose it. I built it. I fought for it on a timeline that would have broken a lot of people, with a family that showed up and didn’t ask questions.

The Luxe Room. The Midnight Heiress. The light that pours through the windows in the morning. The way it smells like fresh paint and possibility.

When I walk in, I feel proud. Like genuinely, deeply proud — in a way I never felt in the old space. Because this one is a reflection of everything BombShell Boudoir actually is. Warm. Luxurious. Intentional. Built for women who deserve to feel like the main character.

Located at 6427 KY-146, Suite 6 in Crestwood, KY — just a short drive from Louisville — the Villa is where BombShell Boudoir lives now. And I am not going anywhere.

Why I’m Telling You This

Because I think sometimes we forget that the people behind the businesses we love are also figuring it out in real time.

I built BombShell Boudoir from nothing. I left a factory job to do this. I’ve navigated landlords and rent increases and twelve-day moves and moments where I genuinely didn’t know if it was all going to work out.

And every single time, it did.

Because this work matters. The women who walk through my door matter. And I will always, always find a way to show up for them — no matter what’s happening behind the scenes.
