Cancer touches the lives of so many, but thankfully, modern medicine has made significant strides in detection and treatment. At our studio, we’ve had the privilege of accompanying several clients on their breast cancer journeys.
For some, the journey begins before, during, or after treatment, which may involve mastectomy and reconstructive surgery. Regardless of where you are in your journey, our studio is a sanctuary where you can be as vulnerable as you need to be, or simply let go and have a moment of respite from your diagnosis. We’re here to support you every step of the way.
We often receive questions from clients facing breast cancer, such as concerns about hair loss, scars, unilateral mastectomy, drains, surgery rescheduling, timing post-surgery scheduling, and the complexity of reconstruction surgeries.
First and foremost, take a deep breath. We understand that this is an incredibly daunting and stressful time, and we’re here to be a source of comfort and support for you.
Secondly, rest assured, we’ve got your back. As experts in our field, we’re dedicated to showcasing your beauty in all its forms. Whether you choose to wear a wig, prefer your scars to be edited out or proudly display them as badges of honor, we respect and honor your choices.
If you have drains in, are still in the healing process, or encounter surgery rescheduling, we’re flexible and understanding. We can discuss rescheduling your session to accommodate your needs. We recognize that this journey is unpredictable and often beyond your control, and we’re committed to working with you every step of the way.
In Loving Memory of Our BombShell Babe. Deanna.
